Brian Boyle is a litigator who predominantly handles business and commercial disputes for companies and individuals. He regularly represents automobile dealerships, contractors, commercial property owners and manufacturers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, many of whom have a presence in the Baltimore area and Montgomery County, Maryland. In addition to his diverse civil practice, Brian represents white collar and other criminal defendants in both federal and state courts.

Experienced in providing robust defense counsel in consumer claims and class actions, and advancing both defendants’ and plaintiffs’ cases in business and construction disputes, Brian is a skilled trial attorney and negotiator who seeks the best outcome for his clients in the most efficient manner. When a settlement cannot be achieved without going to trial, he is known for his thorough preparation and persuasive arguments on behalf of his clients.

In addition to winning multimillion-dollar disputes and obtaining favorable verdicts in federal and state trial and appellate courts, Brian has achieved favorable settlements in class actions while minimizing out-of-pocket costs and negative publicity for clients. He also brings deep experience in advocating clients’ positions in arbitration forums.

Brian’s representation of a car dealer in a case heard by the Maryland Supreme Court resulted in precedent-setting law regarding enforcement of arbitration provisions in consumer transactions that benefits all automobile dealers. 

Brian is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law where he earned his J.D. and ranked in the top three percent of his class. During law school, he served as a clerk in the Public Defender’s Office for the District of Columbia and represented indigent criminal defendants as a student attorney with the University of Maryland School of Law’s Clinical Law Office, where he won the first trial of his career as a second-year law student. He continues to provide pro bono representation to clients through his association with the Criminal Justice Act Panel.

Before pursuing a career in the law, Brian worked as an accountant and financial analyst after earning his B.B.A. in finance, cum laude, from James Madison University. Today, he continues to apply his skills and experience to analyze complex financial issues presented in corporate litigation.
